The Middle East Institute for Law and Development (MILD) was established in Egypt in 2007 in collaboration with the International Law Institute (ILI). It is a non-profit Egyptian institution specializing in providing training, technical assistance, and advisory services to the private and public sectors of the Middle Eastern and North African countries.
Believing in the integral role played by efficient legal and economic structures in developing the region as a whole, the Middle East Institute for Law and development will primarily focus on reforming and enhancing the legal and economic frameworks of the region’s countries.
The establishment of a regional institute in Egypt will rely on Egypt's regional proximity to conduct MILD's services locally, and in neighboring countries, capitalizing on the high level of expertise available on the local, regional and international arena through the institute's vast network.
