ILSA ILI is proud to have sponsored the Philip C. Jessup International Law Moot Court Competition, hosted by the International Law Students Association and Shearman & Sterling, L.L.P. Now in its 49th year, with participants from over 500 law schools and 80 countries, the Jessup remains the largest moot court competition in the world. ILI congratulates this year’s winner, Case Western Reserve University, for an outstanding performance among so many excellent competitors. ILI again awarded a special scholarship to Jose Victor Salud from Ateneo De Manila University in the Philippines as Best Oralist from a non-US Team.

ELSA ILI sponsored and hosted the first annual WTO Moot Court North American Regional as part of the emc2 European Law Student Association international competition. ILI would like to congratulate Duke University as this year’s winner. Duke and Georgetown Univ., the runner up, will move on to compete in the final rounds in Geneva, Switzerland. Special thanks to Zeeshan Hafeez for his efforts to make this inaugural event a success.
