| 2010 Summer Orientation Program The International Law Institute (ILI) is hosting the 40th annual Orientation in the U.S. Legal System program this summer. The program is designed to expose foreign attorneys and LLM students to the American Legal System. Participants are introduced to the U.S. legal methods and process, central U.S. judicial doctrines and the basic research skills needed in the study of the U.S. law and for communicating with the U.S. colleagues and clients. There are also many opportunities to meet lawyers from the private and public sectors and see the practice and administration of the U.S. law through observations at court.
