The International Law Institute (ILI) is pleased to offer two respective seminars on judicial court and case management, and case administration that will take place at their headquarters in Washington, DC from July 29th – August 9, 2019. From the perspective of tribunals to traditional courtroom settings, these seminars will explore the fundamental components of court, docket, and civil dispute management and administration through exposure to US and international models of processes and standards.

There are many levels to every court and tribunal system. The people, practice, institution, organization, and the system itself are all integral. At every level, practitioners should strive for alignment with applicable legal standards, and also with the principles of natural justice and good practice.

Changing times and increasing complexity in their cases and docket confront practitioners daily, and these seminars are designed to assist practitioners in meeting these challenges through lectures on the substantive, procedural, and ethical aspects of court and case management and administration, and with site visits to appropriate institutions.

Both seminars – 2019 Judicial, Court, and Case Management for Judges and 2019 Court and Case Administration for Court Administrators – are to be held concurrently and will act as valuable complements to one another.
